We found a Thanksgiving Turkey in Brisbane

What a shocker. After phoning grocery stores and meat markets everywhere in Brisbane, Mary found perhaps the one and only turkey to be had. It wasn't big perhaps 4.5 kg but it would do. Doris, it cost $11 per kg. That tiny bird better taste amazing. It did!

The stuffing was bought and pumpkin pies were made from scratch. It was an unexpected treat on Canadian Thanksgiving here in Brisbane. Mark and I gladly cleaned up while Karen and Mary served up an amazing supper. Mary's mom's sweet potatoes were on the menu. I think it was the first traditional Thanksgiving supper for the Low family here in Brisbane. Hey Doris, there were no turnips. Ha!!!!!!!!

That turkey wasn't cheap.

Yummmmmmmmmmmm!
